Brent Mason trained in Shorin Shoringe Ryu Karate between 1991 and 1994. He then converted to Kajukenbo for two years under Black belt Llyod Triplet in 1994. In 1995 Brent started kickboxing for Charlton Young , During this time he won the Lightweight and Cruiserweight state championships. In 2003 he started BJJ training under Mark "the Ninja" Kile, Current Rank - Blue Belt.
In 2007 Brent started fighting MMA. In January of 2008 won the Ringrulers 170lb state championship. His current MMA record is 7-1-1 Amateur and 2-1 Pro.
